The blessing of knowing Christ as our Saviour is that we have “the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).”
There is only one person who can truly claim the name Wonderful. That person is the Lord Jesus Christ – the Son of God. He is perfect and came into this world for one purpose: to die on the cross for our sins, thereby giving us an opportunity to have eternal life.
Undoubtedly, God gave the thing that was most precious to him when He sent His Son into the world to save us.
It saves us, if we believe, from a fate too awful to imagine, providing us with a destiny too amazing to understand.
THE GREATEST suffered the WORST so that we might not perish but have eternal life. All we need to do is believe.
These simple observations show us, that whilst we may struggle (at the time) to understand, we can be certain that God’s glory will shine through the darkest tragedies and we will be blessed as a result.
Despite being destitute, depressed and diseased … he did not blame God
This great, infallible, Heavenly Father sent his unique son to die, then raised him from the dead, so that we can have the opportunity to believe and thereby receive eternal life.
Throughout scripture, God declares Himself “greater” than many things. In this snippet, we will consider five of these occasions and how each of them reminds us of something exceedingly magnificent about our Saviour God.
