God’s Armour and the Good Soldier (Part 2)
God has given us armour…there is no safer footing than the gospel, and no dart can cause us harm when we stand together in faith

The only way we can live in the presence of God is to do it on the merit of His son, the Lord Jesus Christ. This truth is difficult for us to comprehend. That is why he tells us that the only way to please him is to trust (have faith) in Him.
Living worthy of the gospel is what God expects of every Christian. Many people have set examples of what this should look like. The Apostle Paul is one of them.
…the moment we accepted Jesus Christ as our Saviour, God made us part of his family with the amazing privilege of having the Spirit who is from God live within us
…the gospel is exclusively a divine work– no human or any other life form compelled or forced him to die for our sins and empowered him to rise from the dead.
…they have the remarkable blessing of “living out” the gospel in all aspects of their life, coupled with a divine responsibility to know and guard its truth.
As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
One of the remarkable effects of sharing the gospel is that it can take our attention away from things that may be causing us pain, stress and worry.
Sharing the gospel often incurs a personal cost. It can impact friendships and family relationships as well as limit business and career opportunities.
God’s awesome power, love and mercy remind us how our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, nailed to a cross in deep and immense pain, declared “It is finished”.
